Care is the operating context

Make the technology feel simple, even when the system behind it is not.

Residents, relatives, care colleagues and operators need different things from the same estate. Phone Guys joins voice, connectivity, Wi-Fi and support into one understandable design — home by home or across a group.

Residents stay connected

Familiar, accessible everyday calling with the Fanvil X305 big-button IP phone, without asking residents to adapt to a complicated corporate system.

Colleagues can reach the right person

Call flows, cordless voice and mobile options shaped around shifts, locations and the way support is actually delivered.

Operators see one estate

Standardised networks, resilient connectivity and support context that can travel across multiple homes.

Resident-room telephones

A proper telephone can still be the most human interface.

For many residents, a physical handset is immediate, familiar and reassuring. Phone Guys uses the Fanvil X305 Big Button IP Phone for resident rooms and can design it into the wider 3CX and IP-telephony environment, while keeping staff and operational call flows distinct.

  • Simple resident and family contact routes
  • Room moves and changes handled cleanly
  • Reception, staff and resident calling designed together

Everyday communications sit alongside — and do not replace — nurse-call, alarm or other life-safety systems.

One care technology partner

From the resident’s room to the group office.

Choose one starting point or bring us the whole estate. The design remains joined up, and support keeps the context after installation.

Designed as one estate

Three experiences. One accountable design.

The resident experience should remain calm, the care team’s tools should remain practical, and the operator needs control across the estate. We design for all three without pretending they are the same user.

Resident

Familiar calling, dependable personal connectivity and clear help when it is needed.

Care team

Reachability, mobility and Wi-Fi designed around the building and the shift.

Operator

Standards, resilience, visibility and one support relationship across sites.

A careful migration

Change the technology without disrupting the home.

Listen on site

Understand the homes, residents, colleagues, existing systems and the difficult corners before prescribing hardware.

Design the boundaries

Separate resident, guest, staff and operational needs while keeping the whole environment supportable.

Pilot and migrate

Plan numbers, rooms, coverage and changeover around the people who still need the home to work throughout.

Support the estate

Keep the service record and design intent together as rooms, staff, sites and requirements change.

Clear answers

Useful questions before the first conversation.

Which telephone do you use in residents’ rooms?

Phone Guys uses the Fanvil X305 Big Button IP Phone. We can design it into the wider telephone system with room and number planning, simple contact routes and managed moves. It is an everyday communications phone, not a replacement for nurse-call, alarm or other life-safety systems.

Can staff, residents and guests use separate Wi-Fi?

Yes. Segmentation and access policies can keep different user groups and managed devices appropriately separated while still using a coherent site network.

Can you standardise technology across several homes?

Yes. We can establish a repeatable core design while surveying each site for local coverage, connectivity and operational differences.

Will you work with our existing systems and suppliers?

That is often essential. We start by mapping what already exists, what must remain, and where responsibility needs to be made clearer before recommending change.
